The cycle of Kindness
A huge variety of new or barely used items are donated by people who want to see their unused goods make an immediate real-world impact in their community all while earning kindness credits for their donations so they can purchase new items they will use.
These credits are our unique way of acknowledging and valuing your invaluable contribution to the community. Think of Kindness Credits as a special, non-monetary currency earned through your service, good deed, hard work, or best effort. There are many ways to earn, but for volunteering Each hour earns you a set number of credits, acknowledging the universal value of your time.
Accumulated Kindness Credits can then be redeemed at our main location. Our inventory, stocked through generous donations from the community, includes items like new or gently used clothing, household necessities, appliances, tools, outdoor gear, bikes, electronics and much more.
This system fosters a pay-it-forward ethos, where helping others creates opportunities for oneself. Developing a more interconnected, supportive, and self-sufficient environment where resources are shared, and everyone's contributions are valued. This Collective Impact: Every volunteer, every donation, and every exchange strengthen the fabric of our community, fostering mutual support, resourcefulness, and collective well-being.

Streets to Stability
Dignity Through Contribution: Earning, Not Just Receiving.

Unlike programs that solely provide handouts, "Street to Stability" offers a dignified pathway where participants earn access to essential services and goods through meaningful volunteerism. Every shower, every item of clothing, is a direct result of their valuable contribution to the community.

This approach fosters a profound sense of purpose, self-worth, and agency, shifting the narrative from dependency to empowerment.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
This program is designed to comprehensively address the immediate and long-term needs of individuals experiencing homelessness and those suffering from chronic homelessness.
Participants engage in vital community clean-up initiatives, assist at animal rescue facilities, and are a part of other meaningful projects while also taking classes aimed at improving social and life skills, guiding them towards stability and improving employability. This fosters a sense of structure and normalcy while helping participants reenter society.

In exchange for their invaluable volunteer hours, participants earn Kindness Credits, which can be redeemed for critical necessities. Beyond essential goods, this program specifically offers access to amenities that significantly improve daily life and well-being.

-Season-Appropriate Gear: New socks, warm blankets, sleeping bags, and weather-appropriate clothing.
